Woodlands Full Primary School (Southland) is seeking to appoint a principal/tumuaki for the 2025 school year and beyond.
Located in Woodlands, near Invercargill, our school is closely connected to the local community therefore we are looking for someone who is used to smaller town life or seeking a change of pace.
Woodlands Full Primary is a smaller school across five classrooms. The size of our rural school means we can provide high quality, personalised learning that encourages many opportunities within our community and environment.

- experience in school leadership, management and financials,
- strong communication skills with a history of building positive, trust-based relationships with staff, families, BOT and the children within the school,

- awareness of the diverse role of a rural principal,
- to be a dog lover!
