Board of trustees
The Woodlands School Board of Trustees is a group of people dedicated to ensuring the school continues to be a great place of learning for our children.
The Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the school at a governance level. Improving student achievement is our guiding focus. Other areas that the Board is concerned with are finance, property, health and safety, personnel, and ensuring legal responsibilities are met. The Principal is responsible for the management of each of these areas on a day to day basis, implementing the Board's strategic and annual plans.
The Board of Trustees meets monthly. Meeting minutes are on available from the school office. Board meetings are open to the public and advertised in the school newsletter.
Being a member of the Board is a privilege that every one of our trustees takes very seriously. Board elections held every three years. The next election will be in 2025.
